Assessment for progresson in Primary History
Getting better at history (making progress) means children recognising and understanding historical process concepts(skills) and such as 'change and continuity','cause and consequence' or 'historical interpretation'. This course will introduce teachers to the Hampshire Assessment Model (HAM) for history. It will explore a range of appropriate ways to assess children's progress in primary history in your school and ensure teachers know what to do if children are not progressing as expected.
