Learning outdoors in Primary History: planning and getting the most from site visits
Ofsted are keen to see children learning outdoors in Primary History. This course will build teachers' confidence to plan for and embed a site visit into each year group's curriculum. It can be arranged to take place in school, using the school environment, or at an historical site near to your school. It will focus on developing exciting historical enquiries and activities that develop children's observational and group work skills increasing engagement and raising aspiration and achievement.
